WooCommerce → Shopify

From WordPress maintenance to a platform that just works.

WooCommerce gives you freedom — and an eternal responsibility for plugins, updates, hosting and security. When the maintenance starts costing more than it gives, we move you to Shopify: complete, verified and with your SEO intact.

The challenge

This is what usually gets in the way.

The plugin lottery

Every WordPress update is a risk. One incompatible plugin can take down checkout on a Friday night — and it's always your problem.

Hosting and security on your desk

PCI compliance, backups, uptime and attack protection come with WooCommerce. On Shopify they're part of the platform.

Permalinks and SEO legacy

Years of WordPress URLs, categories and blog posts must be mapped correctly. That's our specialty — every URL gets a plan.

What's included

Concrete. Documented. Yours.

WooCommerce-specific pre-analysis

Plugins, custom fields, product types and payment solutions inventoried and mapped to Shopify equivalents.

Complete data migration

Products, variants, customers, orders, coupons and reviews — moved and verified against the source.

SEO migration

A 301 map for all permalinks, metadata, schema and blog content — rankings monitored after launch.

Content migration

WordPress pages and blog moved to Shopify's CMS or a headless solution depending on your needs.

New theme architecture

A fast Shopify theme built on your brand — not a copy of the old site's limitations.

The process

How it works.

  1. 01

    Audit

The WooCommerce installation is mapped: data, plugins, SEO and risks.

  2. 02

    Map

Every feature, URL and data field gets a defined path into Shopify.

  3. 03

    Migrate

Data and content are moved to staging where you test everything.

  4. 04

    Launch

DNS switch with redirects live, tracking verified and rollback ready.

Common questions

Objections deserve real answers.

Do our blog posts and pages come along from WordPress?

Yes. Content is migrated with metadata, images and internal links, and every old URL is redirected with 301s so both visitors and Google find their way.

We use specialized plugins — what happens to those features?

The pre-analysis maps every plugin to a Shopify solution: native feature, app, or custom-built with Shopify Functions. You see the whole map before the project starts.

Will Shopify be more expensive than WooCommerce?

The license is higher, but total cost is usually lower once hosting, security, plugins and developer hours for maintenance are counted. We run the numbers on your actual figures in the pre-analysis.

Do we lose our customers' accounts and order history?

No. Customers and order history are migrated. Passwords can't be moved for security reasons — customers set a new one at first login, and we help you communicate that gracefully.
